A MINISTRY TO CHILDREN

This ministry is affectionately known as the Children's Movement and is composed of children, assisted by competent teachers and leaders in all Assemblies. The ministry is committed to upholding the promotion of good Christian values, with a view to helping the children in their spiritual growth.

The Children's Ministry at the Church of Pentecost includes kids through 5th grade. Designed to 'come alongside' parents as they seek to raise their children in the love and admonition of the Lord, the Children's Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for children to be given instruction in God's Word, engage in worship, be involved in fellowship, and give expression to their faith through service and evangelism. The goal is to bring the heart of the Gospel to the heart of the child.

The messages that resonate in Sunday school are focused on expository talks that colourfully illustrate the power behind God's word and its reality in life. Children are taught to embrace diversity and tolerance as attributes to Godliness. Sunday school classes are split into age groups beginning at five. These classes provide exciting and pleasurable methods in learning about Christianity, in ways that sustain their interest. There is a children's choir that responds to children's participatory programs on special events, such as Children's Day set aside for them.

This ministry is under the leadership of Deaconess Sheila Monney of the Strasbourg Assembly, with Pastor Peter Owusu, of the Marseille district, supporting as Patron.
