witness for Christ in the history of the Church. One of the tens of thousandsof outreach outposts of the Church in the world, ours is a ministry that has been faithful and fruitful over a decade of changes and challenges in France. That in Christ's love we will remember one another in prayer, encourage and faithfully counsel and exhort each other in every circumstance. That we will uphold the public worship of God and the ordinances, and never forsake the unity of members.
Empathic preaching The Church of Pentecost is a God-honoring, Christ-centered, spirit-led, Bible-based Church. We are committed to the complete authority of the Holy Scripture. We believe that the Bible is the final authority in matters of faith and practice and therefore through the spirit of God, drives, defines, and develops all that we seek to do. The teaching of the word of God is therefore central to all that goes on in our ministry. Our pastoral staff is committed to expository preaching on every occasion. The driving power of our services is a verse-by-verse study of a biblical passage that allows God to speak through the text of the bible into our lives. We believe that when the bible speaks God speaks. Dynamic worship: The Church of Pentecost is also a church that loves to engage in thoughtful and heartfelt worship. We recognize that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him eternally. Therefore, we seek to glorify Him through His son, the Lord Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit. We do this through singing, preaching, praying, partaking in the Lord's Supper, and holy living. Our worship is a marriage between doxology (chorus of praise to God) and theology. This worship engages the mind, stirs the heart and sanctifies the soul. We enjoy worship that balances reverence with exuberance, quietness with a joyful noise, and historic hymns with contemporary choruses in a Pentecostal tradition. Our beliefs : What the Church believes in as her core values. This includes a declaration of Principle and Purpose Statement. Believer's baptism : What is it and why people should be baptized. Prayer & Worship : Concept of prayer and why we worship. The Pentecost family : What is this family of believers? The theme of the year : Scripture to meditate on throughout the year. Church structure : How the Church is run. Includes, Trustees, Council, COPF ministries & their administrators, Pastoral Staff, oversight committees etc. History : An account of the naissance and growth of the COP in France.
