PASTORAL STAFF

The pastoral staff of the Church in France reflects our growing ministry commitments. As a true ministry team, along with church members, we are ever seeking to give God our best as He gives us His best in Jesus Christ through his anointed servants.   Ministers in our churches uphold the inerrancy of the scriptures and manifest it in their sermons. They prepare and lead their various congregations, devoting a great deal of their time studying, teaching, counseling and mentoring youth groups. They also provide pre-marriage and family counseling along with administering the ordinances. They regularly visit members in their homes and plan various activities for the churches they lead.
Here are the ministers who serve the church in the various districts the church is located in France. Links to individual emails and phone numbers are included. You may also contact any of them by phone.

The Church of Pentecost is a wonderful church family. I am continually overwhelmed by its love of God, its love of one another, and its love of doing the Lord's work. I am also overwhelmed by its strong commitment to meet the challenges of what it means to be the church today and in the years to come. The Gospel remains the same, by how we celebrate the Good News of Jesus Christ is a dynamic, ever changing life experience and the Church of Pentecost reflects this dynamism.
One of my tasks as Senior Pastor and Head of the Church in France is to help provide vision and leadership for today as well as for tomorrow. For me this means preaching and teaching with the Bible, caring for my flock as well as helping them to discover their own ministries.

This is how the body of Christ grows and makes a difference. The great challenge of discipleship is to discover and celebrate what it means to be Christian in achanging world.
One of the exciting things about the church family is that each week I have the opportunity of experiencing the energy, enthusiasm and growth generated by this community as we welcome more and more first-time guests. Throughout the year, the faith of our congregations comes alive through:

  • Local and global service and giving
  • Relationship-building seminars, camps and retreats
  • Bible study programs and small group gatherings
  • Weekly praise, prayer and worship experiences
  • Frequent social and recreational gatherings.

It is humbling as well as fun to see and experience what the Lord is doing among us. I hope you will be our guest some Sunday soon and check us out. And when you come, please introduce yourself to me. I'd really love to meet you.

Pastor Osei Owusu Afriyie.

There's a nice sense of balance here, between progress and preservation, individual and community, human and holy. First and foremost, this is a church that recognizes the divine authority of the Holy Trinity and the Holy Bible. We strive to hold both God and God's word in highest esteem in our worship services and our daily activity, and I think people sense that when they come here.
If you are looking for a genuine and welcoming church community that seeks to honor God and extend the Lord's grace and love, I hope you'll join us here in Marseille at the Church of Pentecost and see for yourself why so many people consider this church their home away from home.

One of the great characteristics of the Church of Pentecost is the warmth and friendliness of the church family. This is a place where people care for one another, and put their faith into action through worship, study, and service to God. At the COP, there is a wide cross-section of people who come and are involved in our programs. From children to youth, to older adults, there is a place for a person of any age to get involved. It would be my greatest pleasure to recieve you in our church soon.

The church has a rich history dating back to 1953, and has shown over the years a legacy of being forward-thinking and tenaciously holding true to the authority of the Holy Scriptures. As a pastor, I have the opportunity to help provide ways for people to grow deeper in their faith and understanding of Jesus Christ, and to work alongside our elders to provide care for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our church community .

It is my hope that you come by to visit, worship with us and to consider being a part of our church family. We'd love to have you.

Ours is a local church that is committed to the supremacy of God in all things. The church of Pentecost is a church committed to bringing God the maximum glory by making and molding disciples that know what it means to deny themselves, take up their crosses, and follow Jesus. If you desire a rich spiritual-feasting upon the word of God, a focus on heartfelt fellowship, mutual ministry and accountability, then I encourage you to come and see what the Lord Jesus is doing in our midst.

If you are looking for a church that seeks to express in word and deed what it is for believers in Jesus Christ to walk in the beauty of holiness by the power of God's indwelling Spirit then I encourage you to consider coming to the church of Pentecost. We seek to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the World. I am especially thankful our Lord has appointed anointed servants to the task of leading this work in France.

Being a true participant of the gospel ministry of the Church of Pentecost a prime contributor to its God-centered, Christ-exalting, heart-reaching ministry I wholeheartedly invite all who are seeking a church family. In our ministry, we seek to be faithful in magnifying Jesus, in proclaiming the glory of His cross, exulting in the power of His resurrection, and living in the enabling of His Holy Spirit.
